From the very beginning, Amanda was so calm, helpful and reassuring, which immediately put us at ease. She guided us through everything and came up with some really lovely ideas that made the ceremony feel so personal and special, including having our two sons do readings, which was such a meaningful part of the day. Amanda was always on hand whenever we had a question, even answering our endless WhatsApp messages when we needed a bit of reassurance! 😂 Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she made the whole process feel relaxed and enjoyable. The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful and Amanda played such a huge part in making our 25th anniversary vow renewal so memorable. SIGNATURE CEREMONY WRITING PACKAGE We chose Amanda's script only service because it suited our needs. Amanda was so helpful explaining in detail the options available and we made a decision to use this service. From the very start we felt at ease and comfortable. Amanda is very attentive, helpful, kind and caring and her attention to detail and dedication to the couple makes her stand out from the rest Our planning meeting with Amanda was fun, the bridal party completely felt at ease in her presence and it was lovely getting to know her as a person and as a friend. The bridal party had lots of questions for her and she guided us in many ways, where to stand for the best photos shots, nothing was too much trouble. Amanda made us all feel very calm chilled and relaxed. Working with Amanda on our Ceremony script was fun, we completed the couples questionnaire and she picked the vital parts to be included in our ceremony and it all came together and it was very personal to us both. It was truly amazing. Before working with Amanda we were totally baffled by all the legalities, which ceremony, registrars we would chose. However, after speaking to Amanda on the telephone she gave us a few options and alternatives to consider and we did not feel pressurised at all and extremely happy with the advice she had given. We did what we felt was right for us both. The 'script' itself felt tailored especially to us because Amanda had all of our information. Again, nothing was too much trouble we changed things around and she worked with us to make sure everything was right and how we wanted our ceremony to be. Having the 'script' marked up, this guided our close friend who acted as our celebrant through our ceremony with ease. It was as if Amanda was delivering the ceremony on the day it was beautiful. Our close friend who delivered our ceremony found it very easy to read and follow. Amanda made sure that the prompts to pause, move aside for the photographer at certain stages were included and no one actually knew our friend was not a celebrant until after the ceremony when we thanked him, it was only when the speeches were taking place that this was mentioned. He did a wonderful job all because of Amanda's 'script'. What we loved most about of ceremony, we had the 'script' in advance we read and edited parts so it was made to our specification all the details were lovely and very personal to us both. Any couples who decide to chose a celebrant for their ceremony I would without a shadow of doubt recommend Amanda. The small things, the little texts to see how planning was going, the surprise in the post, a lovely wedding congratulations card from someone special all such wonderful gestures. Amanda is always on the end of the phone, text or email and answered immediately, Amanda always checked in to make sure everything was going to plan. At one point the script was altered as the relevant paperwork wasn't in place to give notice. Rest assured I messaged Amanda, who immediately changed the 'script' we then received the documents in time and it was all fine on the day and the 'script' was reverted back to as it was. We feel feel that Amanda's knowledge made out day so special and complete. Please do speak to Amanda before you make any decisions or book your registrar her help has been invaluable. We wanted to take a moment to summarise our experience with choosing Amanda as our wedding celebrant. We first met Amanda 2 years prior to our wedding date at a wedding show. We wasn’t sure exactly what we wanted in terms of a ceremony and where to turn for the right information. Amanda gave us some great advice of all our options and kindly said we could contact her with any questions. After this first chat with Amanda we realised just how lovely she was and that she would be the right person for us to lead our ceremony. Amanda made us both feel very confident during the planning process. Regular check ins, always time to listen to my voice notes ranting all things wedding. Amanda went above and beyond, she never just focused on the ceremony but helped us with all aspects of our wedding and it was a privilege getting to know her! From our first phone call to Amanda saying we want to renew our 30 year wedding vows where do we start !! She was a wealth of information we learnt so much in that one call ! We were recommended Amanda by our wedding venue as a celebrant for our wedding day. From the moment we spoke on video call I could tell we were on the same wave length and felt confident that Amanda would be the perfect choice for us. Amanda checked in with us regularly on the buildup to our wedding and sent us lots of ideas and examples of readings to use. We met with Amanda for coffee before the wedding to go through the layout and finalise our script and we felt very at ease leaving our ceremony in her hands. After finalising our ceremony plan, we decided 2 days before our wedding day to change the vowels format last minute, Amanda could not have been more supportive and encouraging with the change and was happy to go with what we asked for. The ceremony went better than we could have ever imagined and was our most favourite part of our day. Our two daughters preformed readings in the ceremony and Amanda stood by their sides encouraging them and making them feel at ease. We met Amanda at a wedding fair and were about to walk passed her when she explained her role. Her genuine character really attracted us, 'I marry people, that's what I do' and we were sold. She's made the whole experience so easy and personable and we've made a really nice friendship throughout. I would definitely recommend A: having a celebrant rather than a registrar and B: hiring Amanda as your celebrant. She caters to absolutely anyone's style and is very thorough. She really took time to get to know us as a couple. We met up beforehand for a nice chilled coke in the sun and stayed for a couple of hours. She even met the stepkids that day. The ceremony itself was perfect. Captured us so well. Also let me sister do a reading as well. Made us feel so comfortable and at ease the whole time. Amanda also gave so much guidance on other services if you need it. We had a last minute change in venue due to our original one closing. Amanda was so flexible and worked with the situation. We used Amanda’s services recently for our baby naming ceremony. It was definitely the best choice. She made the ceremony perfect. Communication with us was brilliant and she really tried to understand us and our situation before completing the ceremony script. On the day she was puncture and got involved with the guests from the very start. The guests all loved the ceremony and Amanda really put a great touch onto the day. We loved working with Amanda on our children's naming ceremonies and would recommend Amanda to everyone! I got in touch with Amanda in January as we wanted a naming ceremony for our daughter. Amanda was responsive, warm and friendly and asked to meet with us in person so we could get a feel for her. Our daughter loved her immediately, Amanda really listened to what we wanted and we trusted her to the extent that we changed the ceremony to include a naming ceremony for our son that was stillborn. Amanda had lots of creative and helpful ideas of what the naming ceremonies could look like, it was a very collaborative process and she helped to develop our ideas. Amanda sent reading examples, and had a good chat about our daughter to understand her likes and dislikes. She also did the same for our stillborn son and it meant so much to talk about him. Amanda suggested the sand ceremony for our daughter, and we had to many compliments from guests about that part of the ceremony, both the ceremonies were beautiful, personable and exactly what we wanted. Amanda told us about the wish tree, which we incorporated into our ceremony too. Even when our daughter got shy Amanda was unflappable! Every guest came up to us afterwards and said two things - they loved the ceremony and they loved the celebrant 'she was brilliant', 'the celebrant was SO good', 'you lucked out with that celebrant she was great'.
